Simply a has bean?
More like a bad penny!
Always Ab fab Fen, but this time even better!
Methinks we are fast approaching the countdown:-
5-4-3-2-1
“Always onward rode the 600”
5-4-3-2-1
fen – great stuff.
“A rare invention to destroy the crowd
Of fools at home instead of fools abroad.
Fear not, my friends, this terrible machine,
They’re only wounded who have shares therein.”
Extraordinary, how world events can threaten (or promise) to turn on a brief but significant incident. A fruit seller’s suicide sparks revolution across the Middle East. DSK’s arrest dooms the Euro? And three points on the wrong driver’s licence changes UK energy policy? All for the want of a nail…
What a laugh Huhne was a director of a speed camera company
“Live by the sword , die by the sword”
Billy Nojob, froma council estate in Essex , if he breaks the law should feel the full force of it, and restrict his carbon emissions. But for our great Liberal leaders no such rules should apply!
Fen, as ever a true pleasure to look at your cartoons.
Might even give the Renaultsport a blat out to celebrate tonight!
Nice work Fen.
“There’s letters seal’d, and my two schoolfellows,
Whom I will trust as I will adders fang’d—
They bear the mandate, they must sweep my way
And marshal me to knavery. Let it work;
For ’tis the sport to have the enginer
Hoist with his own petard, an’t shall go hard
But I will delve one yard below their mines
And blow them at the moon.”
Hamlet Act 3, scene 4, 202–209
……Nice.
Fenbeagle: I LOVE the fuzzy dice in the window. Just terrific. And Cameron looks just exactly right: a man that would have made a lovely headmaster at a selective boys’ school (if it were not selective, I doubt he’d have the sinews needed to keep order).
Brilliant stuff, fen!
Just one tiny little criticism: did you have to make Huhne look like a handsome, tragic prince, above?
I’m sure Flash Gordon would’ve forgiven you if Huhne, in his borrowed finery, would’ve looked fat and verry disgruntled.
But I love you and your art anyway, fen!
Very pretty. But I’m stuck verifying Huhne former directorship.
Clues? Company name?
Traffic Safety Systems

Thanks.
He must’ve been embarrassed to have excluded that directorship from his official biographies. Failed attempt to re-write history or simply incompetence?
That was no spam, that was my comment. (:
Since Huhne finds windturbines to be so “beautiful,” then this is classic and ready for art galleries everywhere (:
I have come to understand Picasso’s painting “Guernica” as a prophecy for Europe.
see: “Mental Museum, Guernica”
Very good stuff here. One thing I noticed about the British Press -they will turn on a politico
like pirana’s on a pig. Here in the USA there are certain protected classes guarded by the
media.
Here in Oregon windfarmms are cropping up like mushrooms on compost.
Oh, Tallbloke quoted my favorite line from Hamlet..
